Guests can sign in 3 ways.
- At the Kiosk: Using a dedicated iPad stand at the funeral home.
- Via Mobile: By scanning a QR code displayed on digital signage, users can sign from their own phone to avoid lines or maintain a touchless experience.
- Via Hyperlink: Funeral homes can include the registry link in the online obituary, allowing remote mourners to sign the guestbook and feel connected to the service.

What hardware is required to run the registry?
The system is optimized for iPad tablets. We recommend a minimum of two tablets per service to prevent “bottlenecks” during busy visitations. Tablets are typically housed in elegant, secure floor stands or countertop kiosks. Digital signage customers can also display a QR code in their service announcements, creating another point of sign-in with guests using their mobile phones.
Does the system require a constant internet connection?
No. While a stable Wi-Fi connection is required to sync guest data to the secure cloud in real-time at the conclusion of the service, the data will save locally in the tablet if no internet connection is available. This ensures that data is backed up instantly and can be accessed from the administrative dashboard immediately after the service.
Can the interface be customized for each family?
Absolutely. Through the easy-to-use online portal, the funeral home has the ability to personalize the sign in page on the tablet. The background image can be changed, decedent’s photo can be added or multiple photos to create a short slideshow.
